Packaging Operator PT - Evenings

As a prominent daily commercial print company, we are seeking part-time team members to work in our seven-day a week Production facility. We believe in a collaborative environment where production excellence is standard, producing products that are delivered on time and of the highest quality. Early evening shift start. Shift ends when production print schedule is complete (generally around 11 or 11:30 pm). Shift schedule may include weekend evening(s). Forklift experience a plus. Warehouse associates welcome to apply. This isn’t a seasonal position. We're hiring for regular, ongoing part-time team members.

-Inserting advertisements into our newspapers and those of our clients.

-Responsible for inspecting items to ensure quality and appearance

-Responsible for creating accurate bundles for distribution

-Aiding team members in achieving on-time production deadlines

-Maintaining a clean production floor

Position requires basic math and reading skills, along with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.  Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Steel-toe safety shoes are required, and safety shoe allowance is provided annually. Hearing protection aids are also provided by the company.
