Quality Inspector

A PCB, Final Visual Inspector is a quality control role that ensures fully manufactured circuit boards are free of defects before they ship to customers. Inspectors examine the boards under a microscope at high magnification to ensure all features meet our customers’ requirements.

• →Visual Inspection: Examine bare boards under magnification (microscopes) for workmanship defects.
• → Defect Detection: Check for missing solder mask, features meet spec. board meets FFF.
• → Coating and Surface Checks: Inspect the board for scratches, warpage, pitting, and proper application of protective coatings.
• → Quality Documentation: Record inspection results, maintain accurate quality logs, and complete lot acceptance sheets.
• → Non-Conformance Management: Tag and report defective materials or parts that fail to meet industry and customer standards.
• → Collaboration: Work with production and engineering teams to address repeat defects and improve manufacturing yields.

Requirements:

• →HS Diploma or equivalent
• →Good computer skills

Physical Requirements

• →Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while using a microscope or magnifying equipment.
• →Good close-up vision (with or without corrective lenses).
• →Occasional lifting of light materials or panels (up to 25 pounds).

Additional Skills Preferred (but not required):

• →Able to read and write in English
