• Assigns specific responsibilities for writing sections or gathering necessary data.
• Identifies appropriate team members to participate in the grant preparation process.
• Tracks and maintains records of grant expenditures and reimbursements.
• Works with the Accounting department to ensure complete, accurate, and reconciled financial records.
• Manages the annual external audit of grant funds to ensure compliance.
• Communicates with faculty and staff, particularly program directors, during the preparation, implementation, and reporting phases of grants.
• Prepares and submits grant proposals to government agencies and private foundations by the deadline.
• Compiles all contributions into a cohesive draft, reviews, edits, and gains approval before submission.
• Verifies all program expenditures to ensure the appropriate use of funds.
• Maintains current and accurate communication about grants with stakeholders.
• Prepares grant budgets and budget narratives for submissions.
• Completes and submits progress, final, and financial reports for grants.
• Other duties as assigned
