Shift - Monday -Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm and Friday 8:00am to 2:00pm

Participates in the correct capturing and entering of professional charges. Participates in collecting patient balances. Supports and assists assigned practices to resolve “front desk” related claims issues. Attends meetings as assigned to address charge issues. Works with the local revenue cycle team to identify denial trends. Answers questions and provides support for providers and office staff. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Exposure and understanding of CPT codes [Required]
• Proficient computer skills [Required]
• Knowledge of athena health, Cerner, Ingenious Med, and EPIC [Preferred]

Education:
• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Field of Study:
• in Healthcare, Business, Finance, or other related discipline.
• in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance or other related discipline.

Work Experience:
• 1+ work experience in a hospital or physician practice department [Required]
• Experience with PC based spreadsheets [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:
• Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) [Preferred]
