• Performs high-quality CT examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols while ensuring optimal image quality and radiation safety standards.
• Reviews patient history, verifies exam appropriateness, and follows patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to imaging.
• Operates CT imaging equipment safely and administers IV contrast materials while monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within EMR and PACS systems and completes exams efficiently to support workflow.
• Practices infection control standards, uses approved PPE and disinfectants, and collaborates with radiologists and healthcare teams to support quality patient care.

• Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various diverse backgrounds
• Knowledge of CT procedures
• Knowledge of CT scanners
• Ability to learn and grow with new technology
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

• Additional Licensure or certification requirements may apply depending on the specific unit or state in which this position is located. Please consult the relevant credential grid for detailed information regarding these requirements.

• Registered Technologist – Radiography (RT(R) (ARRT)) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
