Foundation Development Officer

• Manages the selection and presentation of recognition awards, designing certificates, plaques, and other items.
• Develops and oversees revenue-generating Foundation appeals, coordinating with marketing and events teams.
• Maintains the Foundation fundraising calendar, tracking all events and campaigns. Identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards individual and corporate donors.
• Manages the Grateful Patient Program, recognizing potential donors and referring them to Development leaders.
• Oversees Annual Giving for external and internal constituents, including meeting new employees and managing mass mailings.
• Provides accountability tracking through accurate reporting of fundraising and financial activity.
• Directs the foundation team in prospect identification, research, data management, campaign coordination, stewardship, and donor recognition. Brings new donors and prospects to the Foundation using direct mail and marketing techniques, maintaining accurate data and membership rosters.
• Executes donor recognition and gift acknowledgment programs, including thank you calls and handwritten notes.
• Adheres to professional and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with local, state, and federal statutes.
• Exhibits exceptional interpersonal communication skills in both written and oral form.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
