What We Offer
~1 min read- Coordinates workflow for all modalities, continuously reviewing patient wait times, satisfaction, and staff communication.
- Assures accuracy of scheduled appointments and monitors proper outpatient preparation.
- Consults with Director/Manager, Lead RN, Radiologist, and Modality Leaders regarding schedule conflicts, concerns, or requests outside of established policy.
- Flags special needs and seeks input from Modality Leaders regarding scheduling constraints and equipment preferences.
- Communicates with designated departments for add-on cases and prepares reservations within established timeframes.
- Provides front-desk support to minimize wait times and resolve customer service issues.
- Performs records release of Radiology films and reports to patients or other medical facilities, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Works with AGFA, EMR, PowerScribe, Cypress, and PowerShare to resolve issues. Monitors PACS worklist to facilitate physician-to-physician calls.
- Tracks department statistics to monitor accountability goals for each modality.
- Escalates unresolved challenges to next-level leadership and ensures prompt resolution.
- Presents written and verbal directions to employees to ensure they are informed about performance and job requirements.

- Associate [Preferred]
- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
- 3+ patient registration, billing scheduling or insurance authorizations experience [Required]
