What We Offer
~1 min readResponsible for applying technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to provide timely financial information. This position demonstrates competencies in technical accounting, projections, and financial analysis. Additionally, this role supports the financial tracking of the Epic Project, including recording monthly close journal entries, financial reporting, and analysis of spend projections. In addition, this position requires a strong work ethic, analytical skills, trainability, and effective communication. Ensures intermediate Excel skills are utilized to perform financial tasks efficiently.
Creates and initiates allocations associated with the project to distribute costs appropriately.
Compiles monthly data required to populate financial reports and dashboards. Reconciles and validates monthly financial and statistical data to ensure accuracy. Participates in the monthly close process, posting journal entries, and creating facility transfers.
Creates and compiles schedules for the annual budget process to support financial planning.
Provides financial information and analysis for ad-hoc reports or decision support needs.
Develops and tracks key performance indicators to monitor financial health. Maintains appropriate documentation and audit trails for all financial activities. Monitors work to ensure quality, accuracy, and thoroughness with data.
Assists with physical inventory audits, including planning, observation, reconciliation, and documentation of results.
Supports internal and external audits by preparing schedules, supporting documentation, and responding to audit inquiries.
Perform account reconciliations, analyze variances and investigate discrepancies.
Performs other duties as assigned.
