• Deep understanding of operational process and workflows in the Middle Revenue Cycle [Required]
• Deep understanding of Epic applications, Middle Revenue Cycle specific tools, technologies, and vendors leveraged by AdventHealth, their capabilities, data structure, and relation with other applications [Required]
• Advanced knowledge of Middle Revenue Cycle-specific tools and workflows, including Computer Assisted Coding (CAC) and charge capture and reconciliation related tools and workflows [Required]
• Exceptional problem-solving [Required]
• Understanding of HIPAA privacy rules and ability to use discretion when discussing patient related information that is confidential in nature (as needed to perform duties) [Required]
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, etc.) [Required]
• Ability to effectively learn and perform multiple tasks, and organize work in a systematic and efficient manner [Required]
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in English, both verbally and in written form [Required]
• Ability to follow complex instructions and procedures, with close attention to detail [Required]
• Knowledge of system testing and quality assurance methodologies [Preferred]
• Technical knowledge of current software solutions including report development [Preferred]
• Ability to research and communicate complex interpreted data [Preferred]
• Epic Certification in at least 1 major Epic Module [Preferred]
  
  Education:
• Associate's of Nursing [Preferred]
• Bachelor's [Required]
  
  Field of Study:
• Bachelor's Degree OR 4+ experience in healthcare revenue cycle with a focus in one or more of the following areas: coding, charge integrity, charge reconciliation, charge compliance, charge auditing, CDM compliance, and Hospital Billing Required
  
  Work Experience:
• 1+ working experience in healthcare revenue cycle with a focus in one or more of the following areas: coding, charge integrity, charge reconciliation, charge compliance, charge auditing, cdm compliance, and hospital billing [Required]
• 4+ experience in healthcare revenue cycle with a focus in one or more of the following areas: coding, charge integrity, charge reconciliation, charge compliance, charge auditing, cdm compliance, and hospital billing [Required]
• Experience coordinating Revenue Cycle system updates and/or system implementation [Preferred]
• Experience documenting workflow design and/or creating technical specifications [Preferred]
• Experience managing projects and/or Six Sigma Lean Training [Preferred]
  
  Additional Information:
• An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the stated degree requirement:
• Bachelor's Degree OR 4+ experience in healthcare revenue cycle with a focus in one or more of the following areas: coding, charge integrity, charge reconciliation, charge compliance, charge auditing, CDM compliance, and Hospital Billing

• Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) [Preferred]
• Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) [Preferred]
• Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) [Preferred] OR
• Registered Nurse (RN) [Preferred]
• Certified Revenue Cycle Rep (CRCR) [Preferred]
