About the Campus:
With a blend of suburban charm and natural beauty, our 80-bed AdventHealth Minneola campus provides whole-person care in the rolling hills and scenic lake views of south Lake County.
Spanning more than 200,000 square feet, our campus includes 24 emergency beds, five operating rooms, two cath labs, full-service imaging, outpatient lab services, and more.

About our Medical Telemetry Unit:
Our 40-bed Medical Telemetry unit provides comprehensive care for adult patients with a wide range of complex medical conditions requiring a multidisciplinary, multisystem approach. Our team prides themselves in providing exceptional care and showing uncommon compassion to every patient, every time.
Our typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 5–6 patients per nurse. The care team includes RNs, LPNs, Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), and Nurse Technicians who work collaboratively to provide safe, high-quality care. We foster a supportive and welcoming culture where teamwork, collaboration, and helping one another are at the heart of everything we do.

About our PCU:
The Multisystem PCU is a 32-bed unit featuring state-of-the-art private patient rooms. Our team provides specialized care for adults with a wide range of complex medical conditions, including stroke, renal failure, diabetes, and pulmonary illnesses.
We value teamwork and collaboration. Our multidisciplinary care team works closely together to support a 4–5 patient-to-nurse ratio, with additional support from PCTs and Nurse Techs. Together, we create a collaborative environment focused on whole-person care for patients and families.
Physicians and nurses partner through daily multidisciplinary rounds to promote coordinated care and help ensure the safest possible patient outcomes.
Our unit is family-centered, mission-driven, and highly engaged. We take pride in a supportive culture where leaders and team members treat one another with respect, encourage professional growth, and are always willing to lend a helping hand.
About our ICU:
The Intensive Care Unit at AdventHealth Minneola is an 8-bed unit that cares for a wide range of high-acuity patients. Our diverse case mix includes renal failure, respiratory failure requiring ventilator management, septic shock with MODS, hypovolemic shock, DKA with severe acidosis, and other complex critical care conditions.
Our multidisciplinary Critical Care team includes intensivists, registered nurses, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, case managers, social workers, and chaplains. Nurses are fully engaged and serve as active participants in patient rounds, case reviews, morbidity and mortality/performance improvement reviews, and critical care practice development.
We believe in teamwork and collaboration. Our cohesive, multidisciplinary team works together to create an environment where patients and families receive compassionate, comprehensive, whole-person care. Team members are actively involved, supported, and valued as part of this dynamic critical care team.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
Organizational and multi-tasking skills
Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
Ability to work as a Team player within a unit
Effective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skills
EKG competency
Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills)
Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft windows based programs
Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes
Associate's of Nursing [Required]
Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
1+ acute care hospital setting [Preferred]
Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required for PCU/ICU]
