• Up to $10,000 Sign on Bonus
• Up to $3000 relocation
• Primary Location: AdventHealth Sports Medicine & Rehab East Orlando 7975 Lake Underhill Rd Suite 345, Orlando, FL 32822
• Will also Travel to: Sports Medicine & Rehab's following clinics Innovation Tower, Lake Mary, Celebration, Fish Memorial
• Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am - 5pm
• The anticipated minimum pay rate for this position is $35/hour.
• Determines physical therapy diagnosis and establishes a plan of care, making recommendations for referral if treatment is needed outside the scope of physical therapist practice.
• Designs and implements treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards, recommended techniques, modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient needs.
• Assesses patient ability to safely and effectively perform functional mobility skills and evaluates muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems.
• Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community.
• Oversees the care provided by physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides, according to established regulations and practice standards. Participates in practice changes as a result of performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department.
• Documents and charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology following standards
• Other duties as assigned.
