• Maintains good relationships with physicians, management, other departments, and staff, and investigates and responds to complaints in a timely manner. 
• Actively participates in Cardiothoracic Service Line Performance Improvement projects and completes at least one project annually to improve outcomes and quality for Cardiothoracic patients.
• Supports customer and employee satisfaction activities of the organization.
• Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and keeps the circulating nurse informed of any needs throughout a procedure.
• Assists the team with safe and appropriate operating room turnover times in an efficient and organized manner.

• • 1+ cardiovascular operating room experience [Required]
• • Department specific advanced competencies [Preferred]

• • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] AND
• • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) [Required] OR
• • Technician in Surgery - Certified (NTSC) [Required] 

Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
