Registered Nurse Navigator - Vascular Surgery

• Supports Heart Care & Vascular Surgery office in Palm Harbor, FL
• Shift: Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM

• Functions as a liaison for management staff, administration, physicians, managed care companies, community organizations, and other customers.
• Coordinates efforts for treatment and promotes quality improvement.
• Manages educational efforts and compiles data to track outcomes. Makes recommendations for process improvement.
• Provides referrals and supports follow-up care for patients who are uninsured or underinsured.
• Facilitates communication between patients and healthcare providers.
• Ensures continuity of care.
• Assists patients in navigating the healthcare system.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills [Required]
• Working knowledge of insurance coverage and procedures [Required]
• Ability to develop collaborative relationships both internally and externally [Preferred]
• Working knowledge of insurance coverage and procedure [Preferred]

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
