• Prioritizes and completes follow-up assessments, evaluating and modifying care plans as needed.
• Demonstrates the ability to assess and interpret diagnostic data relative to patient age and condition, including lab results and interdisciplinary team notes.
• Applies knowledge and skills pertaining to all diagnoses, procedures, medications, complications, and equipment associated with the patient population.
• Adheres to all pertinent regulatory standards, following strict infection prevention precautions and medication safety policies.
• Promotes an exceptional patient experience through effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Utilizes appropriate techniques and resources in all interactions to ensure patient understanding.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skill in recording and accessing patient information in electronic medical records according to policy.
• Participates in practice changes, process improvement initiatives, and completes all required education by the due date.
• Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department, exhibiting a desire to learn, teach, mentor, and advance nursing skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Completes timely assessments including physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors, identifying signs of abuse or neglect.
• Makes appropriate decisions and interventions based on patient health conditions or needs, formulating nursing diagnoses.
• Sets measurable and achievable short and long-range goals for patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans.

• Organizational and multi-tasking skills [Required]

• Effective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skills [Required]
• EKG competency testing (based on patient population) [Required]
  
  Education:
• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
  
  Field of Study:
• Nursing
  
  Work Experience:
• 6 months nursing experience [Required]
  
  Licenses and Certifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
