• Develops and implements education for hospital and medical staff related to core measures and process/performance improvement projects.
• Maintains knowledge of CMS and TJC requirements and prepares the organization in advance of activation dates.
• Manages abstraction of core measures.
• Oversees project management tasks. Conducts FPPE and OPPE evaluations with section and sub-section chiefs.
• Evaluates charts for appropriateness of care.
• Coordinates MSQRC and other medical staff committees with section and sub-section chiefs.
• Analyzes data to identify trends and recommends improvements.
• Collaborates with various departments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Provides direction and support to maximize the quality of care for all patients.
• Supports clinical and medical staff in the review, collection, and reporting of quality and performance improvement data.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Candidate needs to live within the Kansas City Metro Area to be considered for the opportunity.

• Expertise with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access and Power Point [Required]
• Expertise with an Electronic Health Record/Electronic Medical Record [Required]
• Expertise in developing and presenting education materials and other presentations using Power Point application [Required]
• Demonstrates expert analytical and organizational skills [Required]
• Leadership qualities, strong communication and interpersonal skills [Required]

• Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]
• Master's of Nursing [Preferred]

• Critical Care clinical experience [Preferred]
• Current clinical experience with leadership responsibilities [Preferred]
• Analytical experience [Required]
• 1+ years acute care nursing experience [Required]
