What We Offer
~1 min read- Helps patients access necessary healthcare services and resources, including financial assistance and community support.
- Mediates and resolves conflicts between patients and healthcare providers or institutions.
- Collects and documents patient complaints and grievances, following up to ensure resolution.
- Collaborates with healthcare teams to improve patient care and satisfaction.
- Advocates for patient safety and quality care, identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Participates in performance improvement initiatives and policy development to enhance patient advocacy services.
- Provides emotional support and empathy to patients and families during difficult times.
- Maintains confidentiality and adheres to ethical standards in all interactions.
- Provides support and guidance to patients and their families, helping them navigate the healthcare system.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure patient needs and concerns are addressed.
- Educates patients about their rights and responsibilities within the healthcare system.
- Assists patients in understanding their medical conditions, treatment options, and care plans.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to read, write and follow instructions in English.
- Good oral communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent organization and people skills. [Required]
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office [Preferred]
- Customer service experience within a digital environment
- Basic knowledge of navigation in a patient electronic medical record [Preferred]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
- 2+ of experience in nursing [Required]
- Demonstrated experience in customer service [Required]
- Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
