The 4S Stepdown ICU at AdventHealth Tampa offers a Clinical Transition Pathway for experienced RNs interested in advancing into higher-acuity care within our network.

Build on your nursing experience through focused education, precepted bedside training, and experience caring for complex medical patients. Prior Stepdown ICU experience is not required.

What You’ll Gain:
• Expanded competency in IV infusions and advanced respiratory support
• Stronger assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
• Structured, unit-specific orientation and education
• Support from preceptors, unit leadership, and our unit educator

Who Should Apply:
RNs with at least 10 months of nursing experience, including 6 months of independent practice following orientation or residency, who demonstrate strong clinical performance and a commitment to continued learning.

Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
