Engages in daily operations, including clinical and service rounding, and develops and delivers clinical content at staff meetings. Determines schedules for licensed and unlicensed staff to best meet patient needs and perform schedule consolidation daily. Serves as a clinical resource for physicians, patients, and staff, escalating issues to management as appropriate. Provides Supervision and clinical guidance and monitors the performance of licensed and unlicensed rehab staff. As required, assists with patient care within scope of practice, following the specific duties and responsibilities outlined for PT, OT, and SLP staff. Contributes to and participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities and supports departmental quality standards and initiatives. Participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices and other stakeholders to build referral relationships and consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extensions of clinical expertise to the community. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals across care settings. Assists in interviews, hiring, orientation, and competency assessments for staff. Completes annual performance appraisals and approves continuing education requests for clinical staff. Promotes evidence-based standards of care and lifelong learning through autonomous and collaborative participation in research, journal club/reviews, teaching/mentoring/clinical instruction, and/or clinical practice education within a peer group. Conducts staff meetings, completes management reports, and resolves complaints independently. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]
• Ability to read, write, and speak conversational English [Required]
• Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills with coworkers and other medical professionals
• Excellent organizational skills [Required]
• Proven leadership abilities [Preferred]
• Knowledge of marketing therapy programs [Required]

Education:
• Doctorate [Preferred]
• Master's [Preferred]

Field of Study:
• in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech language pathology

Work Experience:
• 1+ clinical experience in healthcare setting [Required]
• 1+ supervisory experience [Preferred]

Additional Information:
• Education requirements for this position are determined by the licensing or certification standards set forth by the relevant certifying body. Applicants must possess the level of education mandated for eligibility to obtain and maintain the required license or certification.

Licenses and Certifications:
• Occupational Therapist (OT) [Required] OR

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
