• →Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, histories, physical examinations, and develop treatment plans.
• →Perform pre-operative evaluations and prepare patients for surgical procedures.
• →First assist in surgery as credentialed and permitted by hospital policies.
• →Round on hospitalized surgical patients and manage post-operative care plans.
• →Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests, laboratory studies, and imaging results.
• →Diagnose and treat acute and chronic surgical conditions within scope of practice.
• →Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, surgical expectations, and recovery.
• →Document patient encounters accurately and timely within the electronic medical record.
• →Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain adherence to evidence-based practice standards.
• →Facilitate timely communication among patients, families, and healthcare team members.

• National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGACNP, or AGNP).
• Curren Florida APRN License
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• DEA registration or ability to obtain.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.

• Full-time position
• 1 weekend of Hospital rounding per month
• Hybrid role to include inpatient rounding and clinic / outpatient setting
