The Kidney Transplant Program at AdventHealth Transplant Institute – Porter offers the opportunity to join an established, growing transplant program with strong annual volume, above-national-average living donor rates, and recognition as a National Kidney Registry Donor Center of Excellence. The program is supported by a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team and a regional health system footprint that creates meaningful opportunity for continued growth, outreach, quality improvement, and expanded access to kidney transplantation across Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Region.

• Comprehensive transplant nephrology care across the pre- and post-transplant continuum
• Evaluation of patients with advanced chronic kidney disease and end-stage renal disease being considered for kidney transplantation
• Pre-transplant assessment, transplant candidacy review, and waitlist management
• Inpatient and outpatient management of kidney transplant recipients
• Management of immunosuppression, allograft dysfunction, rejection, infection, and transplant-related metabolic complications
• Participation in transplant selection committee meetings and multidisciplinary patient-care planning
• Close collaboration with transplant surgeons, nephrologists, dialysis providers, primary care physicians, and referring providers
• Participation in living donor evaluation and donor-recipient matching processes, as appropriate
• Opportunity to contribute to quality improvement, regulatory readiness, clinical research, education, outreach, and program growth

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and accredited Nephrology fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology
• Demonstrated training and experience in Transplant Nephrology
• Current unrestricted Colorado medical license or ability to obtain
• Ability to obtain unrestricted Montana and Wyoming medical license
• Appropriate DEA registration
• Collaborative, patient-centered physician committed to high-quality multidisciplinary transplant care and program development
