Rebound Therapies is seeking a motivated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team. This role provides the opportunity to work directly with patients in the home health setting, helping individuals regain independence and improve their daily quality of life.

As a COTA with Rebound Therapies, you will work under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans designed to support patients in achieving their therapy goals. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients and making a direct impact on their progress and recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Occupational Therapist in delivering high-quality therapy services to patients in the home setting
  • Support patients through therapeutic activities and exercises designed to improve daily functioning and independence
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Educate patients and their families on care plans, exercises, and strategies for daily living
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes
  • Help ensure a safe and supportive environment during therapy sessions

To join the team at Rebound Therapies, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in the state of Michigan
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and clinical staff
  • Previous experience as a COTA is preferred, particularly in home health settings, though new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to patient homes
