Role Purpose

AECC is experiencing significant growth in line with the timely changes for students and our university and college partners around the world. As we expand our global footprint, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and professional Migration Consultant for our Sydney office, who loves to help others on their education and migration pathway and to communicate and build relationships with our customers and clients.

This role is suited to individuals who have worked or desire to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment. 

What Does This Opportunity Mean for You

• Managing current customer cases as well, building up and expanding new customer base in your own territory
• Working with other registered Migration Agents and Education Consultants as a team to achieve a positive outcome
• Collaborating with teams across the business to identify, implement and facilitate processes to expand the business and enhance the customer service
• Researching, planning, and engaging in content and activities for marketing
• Able to handle the entire visa process starting from the first consultation to lodging the visa
• Knowledge of a wide range of visas, including but not limited to student, temporary graduate, visitor, partner, general skilled migration, employer sponsored visas, and skill assessment process
• Able to handle AAT applications and responses to natural justice letters from the Department
• Able to prioritize among multiple active cases to ensure you meet deadlines
• Converting new leads into opportunities
  

Skills and Attributes Required

• At least 1-3 years experience in Migration/Education Consultancy in a similar position
• Current registration as Migration Agent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual communication skills. Additional language skills will be preferable
• Self-motivated and an ability to work autonomously
• Genuine interest to develop a career in the migration industry
• Prior education consulting experience and a candidate with QEAC will be preferred
