ESS/ACAS Software Management SME

AERMOR LLC is seeking to hire ESS/ACAS Software Management SME who will provide end-user tiered-level customer support by coordinating software, hardware, network, and security issue resolution and install, configure, troubleshoot, and provide limited maintenance.  The chosen individual will look to test and monitor the effectiveness of Navy-provided TTPs / SOPs; coordinate with external organizations to recommend changes in TTPs / SOPs to maximize synergy. As well as providing the critical services of Queue Management, Product Deployment, Data Analysis, and Policy Adherence. 

Shift Availability: This position supports a 24/7/365 operation and is subject to shift availability based on contract and operational requirements. Candidates must be willing and able to work an assigned day, evening, or midnight/overnight shift. Shift assignments may vary based on staffing needs and mission requirements.

Responsibilities Include:
 

• Implement ESS migration/compliance strategy
• Troubleshoot ESS product issues and outages
• Administer EPO tree structure management
• Administer policy catalog management
• Provide Queue Management, Product Deployment, and Analysis as required
• Provide SME level support for the ESS Fleet Centralization
• Test, monitor, and work with ESS Support Admins on Navy provided TTPs/SOPs
• Provide oversight and guidance to ESS Support Admins
• Review of ESS threat events
• Refine server tasks and policies as needed (tagging, ASCI, tree structure, etc.).

• Must have an active and current U.S. Government issued Security Clearance - Secret Level
• Knowledge and experience in working with the McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention System
• Knowledge and experience in working with McAfee ePO (ePolicy Orchestrator)
• Knowledge and experience in working with Firewalls desired
• Knowledge with Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS) desired
• Understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems
• Support is to be completed on-site daily to the Suffolk, VA area.  This is not a remote position.

Certification/Education Requirements: 
 

• Security+ Certification
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or Cyber Security (preferred)
