Software Engineer PHP - Nucleus

• Required Skill Handle assignments related to our product front end ad-platforms, including backend application development, deployment, optimization, performance and scale.
• Proficiency in Core PHP, Laravel, and MVC Framework for backend development.
• Handle browser compatibility issues across various web browsers, and determine challenges with web page structure for parsing content, and handle responsive design, perform web page performance audit and manage client-side optimization etc.
• Work with technology, product and business teams to enhance commercial value of the product by building/updating product features.
• Build cross-browser compatible, highly performant, highly scalable, efficient, distributed, cloud based, low latency product.
• Write clean, testable, readable and maintainable code that scales. Take ownership of assignments, code and features, from design through production deployment, enhancements and support. Troubleshoot production issues and identify practical solutions.
• Develop relevant analytics data to keep track of product growth. Understand data thoroughly and have insights about the various business use cases.
• Ensure application design and code performance is of highest quality.
• Support customer-facing teams with data insights, reports, analysis, and actionable recommendations.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience:
o Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in developing scalable web applications.

• Languages/Frameworks:
o Strong command of HTML, and CSS for front-end development.

• Caching Technologies:
o Knowledge and practical experience in caching technologies like Redis to enhance application performance.

• Fundamentals:
o Clear understanding of DNS workings and its implications on web applications.
o Understanding of how frontend integrates with the backend to ensure smooth UX

• Database:
o Ability to write optimized MySQL queries and work with databases efficiently.

• Version Control:
o Familiarity with Git and its workflows for collaborative software development.

• CI/CD Tools:
o Proficiency in CI/CD development tools, particularly Jenkins, to automate testing and deployment processes.

• Education:
o B.E. / B.tech / MCA

Good-to-Have:
o Familiarity with React JS or Golang, though not mandatory, would be advantageous.
o Curiosity and zeal to pick up new technologies and pivot as per the requirement at hand
o Developing various ad formats using JS widgets for websites, these JS widgets will be integrated as JS Tags by publisher partners for various ad layouts.
