Position Summary:

We're looking for an Online Programmer to join our Interactive engineering team and help support the online systems behind our projects. You'll work alongside senior engineers on backend systems and server integration, and help keep our game servers running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help build and maintain the systems that keep gameplay smooth and consistent across clients.

• Support our backend team on player authentication and how the game connects to backend services.

• Assist with dev ops work like spinning up and maintaining game servers.

• Help carry work from the connection process into a matchmaking server through the complete flow into the game-side experience.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 3–6 years of experience with online or networked systems; working in the games industry is a plus.

• Familiarity with dev ops fundamentals like server provisioning and management.

• Exposure to matchmaking systems is a plus.

Additional Information:

• This role requires candidates to be based in Raleigh, NC, for a hybrid work schedule.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
