AGE Solutions is seeking a Solutions Architect to support our DoD customer's SIPR modernization program. This position serves as a senior engineering and architecture resource responsible for designing, implementing, integrating, and optimizing secure networking and cybersecurity solutions supporting SIPRNet modernization initiatives. The Solutions Architect provides technical leadership supporting SD-WAN, secure access technologies, Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC), security architecture, network transformation, and enterprise modernization efforts across globally distributed secure environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure networking and cybersecurity solutions supporting Army SIPR modernization objectives.
  • Lead engineering activities involving SD-WAN, secure network connectivity, security controls, and infrastructure modernization.
  • Support implementation of CSfC solutions, secure mobility capabilities, and classified network access technologies.
  • Develop technical architectures, solution designs, implementation plans, and engineering documentation.
  • Support integration of network, security, identity, and infrastructure technologies across enterprise environments.
  • Evaluate network performance, security posture, scalability, resiliency, and operational effectiveness.
  • Provide technical leadership supporting migration, deployment, modernization, and transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, cybersecurity personnel, customer stakeholders, and program leadership.
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex networking, security, and infrastructure challenges.
  • Conduct technical reviews and provide recommendations supporting future-state architecture objectives.
  • Support cybersecurity assessments, compliance initiatives, vulnerability remediation, and risk management activities.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations supporting mission requirements and modernization goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience supporting federal government, DoD, secure networking, cybersecurity, or enterprise architecture environments preferred.
  • Extensive experience supporting network engineering, cybersecurity engineering, secure communications, or enterprise modernization environments.
  • Experience supporting SD-WAN, network security, secure access technologies, or large-scale infrastructure initiatives.
  • Experience developing solution architectures and implementation strategies.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Expert knowledge of secure networking, SD-WAN (Versa Networks Preferred), cybersecurity architecture, enterprise infrastructure, and modernization methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of CSfC, Zero Trust principles, secure access technologies, and classified network environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into scalable and secure solutions.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must have and maintain a current DoD Secret clearance.
  • Must posses relevant certifications that may include CISSP, CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, Security+, or equivalent.
  • Suitable DoD 8570 (replaced by DoD 8140) is Required.
  • Work Location: Fort Huachuca, AZ, Monday-Friday Core Hours
  • Travel requirement: Up to 25%.
    • Occasional CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.
