About the Role

The QA & QC Executive is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the full Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) system for factory production. This role plays a critical part in setting up production SOPs, quality control workflows, inspection procedures, and documentation, ensuring that all products meet company quality standards and specifications.

  • Oversee daily QAQC activities including incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
  • Manage quality control for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
  • Ensure all products meet company quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with established quality procedures.
  • Create, update, and maintain production SOPs, inspection plans, and quality checklists.
  • Define production steps and quality control checkpoints across all processes.
  • Ensure SOPs are consistently followed by all production staff.
  • Train workers and supervisors on SOPs and quality procedures.
  • C. Quality Improvement & Problem Solving
  • Identify defects and quality issues during production.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Issue NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Work closely with Production teams to reduce defects and improve overall product quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance consistency and efficiency.
  • Inspect and evaluate incoming raw materials, hardware, and components.
  • Ensure all materials meet required specifications and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and suppliers to resolve material quality issues.
  • Ensure all furniture products meet safety standards, durability requirements, and industry regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and procedures.
  • Support audits, inspections, and internal quality reviews.
  • F. Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare and maintain SOPs, inspection reports, testing records, and quality documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and testing results.
  • Track quality performance, trends, and KPIs.
  • Report quality performance and issues to Management regularly.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and firm character in enforcing quality standards on the production floor.
  • Guide and supervise QAQC team members or inspectors (if applicable).
  • Build a disciplined, accountable, and quality-focused work culture.
  • Communicate clearly and assertively with all departments to uphold quality expectations.
  • Work closely with Production, Warehouse, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and quality consistency.
  • Support product handover processes to ensure quality standards are met before delivery.
  • Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by Management in line with business needs.
  • General Responsibilities:
  • Drive quality excellence, consistency, and continuous improvement across all production processes.
  • Uphold strong leadership, discipline, and accountability in enforcing quality standards.
  • Ensure alignment between QAQC, production, and warehouse operations.
  • Promote a quality-focused culture across all levels of the manufacturing team.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or related field.
  • Must have experience in the furniture manufacturing industry.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in QAQC, quality control, or similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of furniture materials, construction, finishing, and manufacturing processes.
  • Familiar with QAQC processes including incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
  • Experience in handling SOPs, NCRs, CAPA, and quality documentation.
  • Strong leadership character with the ability to enforce standards and manage shop floor challenges.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
  • Able to work closely with production teams to improve quality and reduce defects.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Mandarin Speaker Preferred
