Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Own and maintain a prioritized product backlog aligned with business objectives and customer value, in close collaboration with senior colleagues and business stakeholders.
- →Work with agile teams throughout the delivery lifecycle (discovery, refinement, sprint planning, execution, review, and retrospective), supporting effective and timely delivery.
- →Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements based on stakeholder input and business needs.
- →Translate business needs into clear, well-structured Epics and User Stories with testable acceptance criteria.
- →Ensure backlog items are sufficiently refined and meet Definition of Ready standards before sprint planning.
- →Facilitate and contribute to backlog refinement sessions and sprint planning by preparing well-defined stories and requirements.
- →Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and the development team, promoting clarity and transparency.
- →Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and dependencies, escalating risks and issues as needed.
- →Collaborate with Tech Leads, QA, and Delivery Managers to ensure technical feasibility, alignment, and high product quality.
- →Support product visioning, roadmap development, and incremental delivery of value, under the guidance of senior product leadership.
- →Ensure traceability between business goals, requirements, and delivered software features.
- →Contribute to continuous improvement through feedback gathered in sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- →Enable team autonomy by providing structured, timely information and clarification on business requirements.
- →2+ years of experience as a Product Owner, IT Business Analyst, or in a similar role within software development environments.
- →Proven experience working within agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid models).
- →Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into structured requirements and actionable user stories.
- →Hands-on experience managing stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
- →Experience creating user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and collaborating with QA for requirements validation.
- →Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- →Involvement in medium to large-scale software projects.
- →Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar.
- →Exposure to scaled agile environments is a plus.
- →Agile certifications (such as CSPO/PSPO/PMI-PBA) will be considered an asset.
