The Instrument Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth of Agilent’s Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry and Spectroscopy solutions and related instrumentation within an assigned territory. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering exceptional value through Agilent’s portfolio of products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Develop and execute territory and account development plans.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at all organizational levels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product Specialists, Application Engineers, Service Sales) to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and expense reports.
  • Support marketing campaigns and participate in industry events as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Science, Chemistry, or Engineering.
  • 2-3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably with knowledge of Chromatography and Spectroscopy products or in scientific industry segments such as Life Sciences, Environmental, Healthcare, and Diagnostics.
  • Highly driven, able to perform under pressure and meet strict timelines.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Strong customer orientation, energy, and team spirit.
  • Excellent enterprise selling skills, interpersonal relationships, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to develop sales plans aligned with product portfolio and business strategy.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.
