As our next Sales Account Manager, you will drive the success of Agilent’s Chemistries & Supplies consumables portfolio, including GC and HPLC columns, sample preparation solutions, and laboratory equipment.
Responsibilities
~1 min read• Generating existing and/or new sales across different accounts & industry on your designated territory.
• Developing accounts and maintaining positive ongoing long-term relationships with key customers.
• Acting to understand customer needs and identifying solutions to non-standard tasks/queries to creates business opportunities.
• Promoting and selling analytical workflows and/or solutions to current or new customers and informs customers of new product introductions.
• Creating and revising lead generation plans.
• Determining and developing approaches to sales assignments to achieve quota/ strategies.
• Leading projects requiring coordination with other functions, organizations.
In this role you will be working remotely combined with travel to customer sites in across Catalonia Area (a company car will be available to you).
Requirements
~1 min readWe are looking for a motivated individual with the following background:
• University degree in Chemistry (preferably Analytical Chemistry or Biochemistry) or another Life Sciences-related field.
• Experience in selling products and solutions to laboratory environments (preferably with a strong focus on the Pharma and Biopharma industries) and good knowledge of laboratory workflows.
• Good knowledge of analytical techniques such as chromatography, spectrometry and/or spectroscopy.
• Full proficiency in Spanish and at least good level of English. Catalan is a plus.
On a personal level, you are autonomous, outgoing and customer focused. You also have excellent interpersonal and persuasion skills to interact with many external and internal partners. You show a real can-do attitude, resilience and you like to help others. Whilst being flexible and adaptable, you have also strong planning, organizational and time management skills.
