International Customer Service Representative

We are growing!! Sensient is adding an International Customer Service Representative to support our Colors Group business in St. Louis. You will work cooperatively with team members servicing internal and external customers. You will work in a team centric environment that provides opportunities for skill and career growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Be responsible for order administration, processing, follow-up, contract review, problem resolution, and customer requests for multiple business units and both internal and external customers.
- Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, debits, credits or returns. Communicate with planners and shipping personnel and manger certain shipping functions to ensure on-time deliveries and advise customers of delays if needed. Review production and shipping schedules to determine impact on customers expected deliveries.
- Perform a variety of customer and logistics transactions such as; order entry, processing, follow-up, shipment consolidation, and applicable export paperwork.
- Work with account managers, product managers, sales administrative staff as well as shipping, production and lab to resolve discrepancies/missing information.
- Collaborate with Global Procurement and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and address any supply chain disruptions.
What You’ll Bring:
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with 3-years of customer service and/or logistics experience.
- Strong communication skills, including ability to capture the detail of a situation and communicate accurately, professionally and completely, verbally and in writing.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining high degrees of attention to detail, accuracy and poise.
- Effective personal time management and organization skills.
- Solid proficiency in JD Edwards (JDE) and experience in a Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel, Power Point) is desired.
