Maintenance Supervisor

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to supervise and direct maintenance technicians in our Juneau facility (24/7 operation). The facility produces spray dried yeast used in the food and BioNutrient industries.  

• →Lead, schedule, and manage a team of maintenance technicians and electricians to complete maintenance work effectively and efficiently in the facility. 
• →Plan and schedule daily maintenance work (PMs, work orders, etc.).
• →Oversee contractors/projects in conjunction with engineering team. 
• →Oversee and manage spare parts inventory and maintenance budget to ensure the right materials are available when needed and spending falls within budget. 
• →Drive improvements in equipment reliability through strong preventative maintenance practices, SOPs, and training of maintenance technicians/operators. 
• →Collaborate with other departments to create a culture that aligns with our food quality and employee safety standards.

• 5+ years of relevant maintenance management/supervisory experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on maintenance, operations, or engineering experience. Ability to complete root cause analysis. 
• Strong experience with troubleshooting, automation, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, hard wire and ladder logic controls. 
• Strong organizational, communication, analytical, communication, strategic thinking, and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Experience using computer systems/maintenance software.
• Experience dealing with pumps, heat exchangers, boilers, ammonia, HVAC, or drying systems preferred.
