The Plant Admin Associate provides support in a variety of areas within the Accounting Department. Duties include but not limited to daily matching, coding and processing of all plant purchases/receipts/invoices for approval and submission to A/P as well as entering the purchases of certain inventory items. This role helps process bulk cheese sales and helps reconcile all sales at month end. The incumbent also assists in monthly inventory reconciliation of cleaning chemicals, other ad hoc reports/analyses and ordering all supplies for the Admin Building.

Responsibilities

  • →Providing accurate and timely processing of all plant purchases/invoices including Capital Project purchases.
  • →Works closely with the supervisors and purchasing planner to make sure purchase receipt information is accurate and no data is missing
  • →Work with vendors when invoices are missing or discrepancies occur.
  • →Inventory supplies needed for office and searching for best pricing before ordering.
  • →Process bulk cheese sales.
  • →Works with AR at month end to make sure no sales for the month were missed.
  • →All other duties as assigned.
  • →Comply with all safety procedures including wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • →Adhere to health, environmental, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other related guidelines in operation of duties and working within the facility.

Requirements

  • Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
  • Exceptional data entry and solid understanding of accounting practices and basic mathematics.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, including the ability to research and analyze information as well as develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with demonstrated skills in organization, planning, prioritization, and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning computer-based applications (AS400 and JDE).
  • A high degree of integrity, ethics, and judgment.

High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree in a related field of study with 3-5 years related experience preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
