Job Description

The Product Registration Specialist will be responsible for accurately interpreting and applying specialized knowledge of product registration and global supply chain administration requirements to Agri Technovation’s comprehensive line of fertilizer and agricultural remedies As the specialist you will collaborate with the company’s cross-functional teams on product life-cycle management functions, including innovation, commercialization and maintenance.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work closely with colleagues to learn various processes and legislations per country
  • Assists in the compilation of data and preparation of documents required by government, third party and other authoritative bodies to support product registration activities.
  • Maintains and updates product and establishment registrations with all applicable agencies.
  • Provides commercialization support for new and amended registrations to minimize time to market and ensure continued compliance on the market.
  • Collaborates with cross functional teams to evaluate risks and present strategies for minimizing the same while driving compliance of product lines.
  • Assists with maintenance of regulatory affairs operating records including updating and maintaining: Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and product and ingredient information, amongst others.
  • Maintains and continuously expands knowledge of relevant regulations. Actively follows proposed changes in regulations and relevant industry trade associations. Strives to become a subject matter expert in the area of product registration and chemical product compliance.
  • Ensure that each country’s products are labelled in a way that abide by the country’s regulations.
  • Learn about the compositions of AT products i.e. macro-, micronutrients and bio-stimulants and agricultural remedies as well as whether used on roots or as foliar

Minimum Requirements

  • B.Sc. degree in Agriculture (or related field).
  • Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in product regulatory affairs/ product registration within agricultural inputs in a commercial or business environment
  • Strong agricultural science foundation and broad exposure across the sector.
  • A legal background in agriculture or compliance will be a valuable advantage
