About the Role

Function: Finance & Actuary | Department: Actuary - Valuation & Reporting
- Deep knowledge in Insurance industry as well as Actuarial career.
- Understanding AIA’s insurance products and implementation process.
- Support EV/VONB/ Local reporting team to deliver monthly/quarterly reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions of required deliverables.
- Assist with the provisioning of insights and analysis to support business activities and projects.
- Assist in enhancing reporting process in order to increase accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
- Support ad-hoc requests from other teams (Pricing, IFRS17, Modelling) from time to time.
Requirements
~1 min read- Education: bachelor’s degree in a subject with significant exposure to actuarial, finance, mathematics and/or statistics.
- Experience: prior Actuarial/ Finance internship is preferred.
- Skills (technical skill):
- Basic knowledge of Prophet, able to set up runs and read codes
- Knowledge in VBA, Python, SQL, or R.
- Experience working with Microsoft packages - Will (soft skill):
- English fluency is necessary for this position.
- Good communication and presentation skills, team player, organized and punctual.
