About the Role

The Lead Analyst, Cloud Operations will provide day-to-day support to all AIA business units using AIA’s Azure public cloud platform including but not limited to incident-, change-, request- and problem management. AKS Engineer role focuses on deploying, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting containerized applications on Azure while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance.
  • Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements.
  • Support cloud adoption of applications as they are being transformed and/or modernized.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to address and resolve technical escalations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues and Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support and guidance.

  • 2–3 years of experience working with Kubernetes and Azure cloud services.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Good understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals and container concepts.
  • Good knowledge of Linux administration and networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with scripting (Shell/Bash or PowerShell).

  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to cloud-native technologies.
