Responsibilities

Ensure successful parallel runs of IFRS17 results, and completion of IFRS17 project phase pre-go-live.

Maintain the post-go-live period solutions while continuously improving its performance, stability, usability and value.

Support in reviewing and analyzing the result of regular IFRS17 reporting and ensure to deliver within timeline

Review and ensure appropriate controls are in place for IFRS17 reporting process

Provide analysis to support decision-making (business planning, product pricing etc.) on IFRS17 implementation

Lead and develop junior actuarial staffs. Guide members in the team and review their work to ensure quality and timely completion of deliverables.

As part of the actuarial management team, to craft the department’s culture and environment that is aligned to AIA’s Core Values
Requirements

Associate level of from well-established actuarial societies. Fellowship level is preferred.
At least 7 years of relevant actuarial experience
Experience in senior management role in valuation, or IFRS17 experience is highly preferred.
Strong business and financial acumen with experience in stakeholder management or client-facing roles. Being able to manage local business units and group office stakeholders.
Extensive exposure to actuarial/financial technology solutions. Proven track record of implementing process transformation project
Strategic thinking, motivated to make changes for the better
Excellent interpersonal skills, a forthright communicator able to build trust and maintain enthusiasm
