Responsibilities
~1 min readDevelop and execute annual, quarterly, and monthly training plans aligned with regional business priorities. Assess capability gaps through performance analysis and training needs assessments. Translate company-wide learning strategies into regional implementation plans. Ensure training supports recruitment, activation, new agent success, retention, productivity, and leadership development.
Lead and deliver core training programs for New Agents, Agency Leaders, Premier Agency Leaders, Agency Executives, and other development initiatives. Facilitate workshops, bootcamps, leadership programs, and capability-building sessions. Apply AIA training methodology and adult learning principles consistently. Support sales activities and events, including SS/COP.
Lead, coach, and develop the regional team of Agency Trainers. Set performance objectives, track progress, and provide regular coaching and feedback. Build a trainer talent pipeline and succession plan. Support trainer certification and ongoing professional development.
Partner with Regional Business Heads, the Agency Development team, Agency Leaders, Distribution Management, and relevant support functions to address capability needs and business challenges. Serve as a trusted advisor on agency development and learning effectiveness.
Measure training effectiveness using defined KPIs. Analyze agency productivity and recommend targeted interventions. Track attendance, completion, activation performance, retention, promotion outcomes, and leadership development impact. Prepare and deliver periodic management reports and insights.
Conduct field observations and coaching sessions for new agent success. Support Agency Leaders in recruitment, selection, new agent development, activity management, team building, and agency management. Reinforce learning post-training to drive sustained behavior change.
Ensure all training activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, Ministry of Finance guidelines, and AIA learning standards. Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
Support strategic transformation initiatives and lead regional implementation of new learning programs, digital learning solutions, and capability frameworks. Promote adoption of digital learning platforms and AI-enabled training tools.
Requirements
~1 min readBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Education, or a related field.
At least 5 years of management experience
At least 6 years of experience in the insurance industry, financial services sector, or other sales-driven organizations.
Experience with training management systems; Power BI, AI adoption or database development experience is an advantage
Data analysis and reporting

Strong organizational and coordination skills
Demonstrated leadership and team management
Strong attention to detail
Effective communication and stakeholder management
Strong problem-solving and process improvement mindset
Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
