About the Role

Job Description Summary:
Be responsible for delivering small scale IT projects that span up to 6 months or assisting to deliver large scale IT projects that span over 12 months, trace and report progress, and ensure the quality of deliverables of project on time, within budget and meeting business objectives.
  • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a small scale project and scope
  • Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
  • Effectively apply suitable methodology and enforce project standards
  • Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
  • Minimize the exposure and risk on project
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Track and report team hours and expenses on an aligned basis
  • Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization to better manage project budget
  • Understand the pricing model and billing procedures
  • Contribute to identify business development

Education & Experience

  • University degree or above in IT or related disciplines
  • Minimum 6 years IT working experience, at least 3 years in project Management

Knowledge & Skill

  • Knowledge of SDLC and relevant methodology, e.g. waterfall, scrum, CMMi etc
  • Advanced features of PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Project
  • Ability to work remotely with customers at different locations including tracking and reporting status, as well as prioritizing and liaising with users in virtual environment
  • Able to document, and articulate project status via various means of presentation, and articulate with clarify to customers in business English
  • Good command of English both in oral and written
  • Effective communication skill
  • Good presentation skill
  • Project management skill
