MediCard is currently looking for assertive, dynamic and energetic individuals to fill up the following vacancy:
To perform accurate and timely diagnostic imaging procedures in support of patient care, ensuring high-quality imaging output, patient safety, and compliance with clinical and regulatory standards. The role also supports clinic operations through proper documentation, equipment maintenance, and limited administrative functions.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (30%)
Conduct radiologic procedures including X-ray, ultrasound, and echocardiography as part of PME packages or as requested by physicians, ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures (10%)
Schedule, assess, and properly position patients to obtain optimal image quality while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Assist physicians in imaging-related procedures (10%)
Support doctors during ultrasound and other imaging procedures to ensure efficient and accurate diagnostic services.
• Process, prepare, and encode imaging results (10%)
Ensure proper capture, labeling, encoding, and transmission of images for physician interpretation and reporting.
• Ensure quality and safety of imaging services (10%)
Apply radiation safety protocols, quality assurance standards, and proper handling procedures to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Coordinate maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment (10%)
Ensure that preventive maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment are conducted as scheduled by coordinating with authorized service providers and monitoring compliance to ensure continuous operational readiness
• Maintain inventory and manage supplies (5%)
Monitor availability of imaging supplies and materials to support uninterrupted clinic operations.
• Provide administrative and HMO screening support (5%)
Verify member eligibility and screen imaging requests based on HMO benefit coverage prior to procedure.
• Prepare reports and provide operational support (10%)
Maintain records of imaging procedures, prepare and submit timely reports, and assist in overall clinic operations including coordination of results.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Education: Graduate of BS Radiologic Technology and Radiologic Licensure Exam Passer
• Experience: At least 1 year experience performing the same/similar task
• Other Skills: Average communication skills. Skilled and trained in Ultrasound/2D-Echo.
