About the Role
~1 min read• The Senior Manager – FP&A (“SM”) is a dynamic and strategic leadership role responsible for driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis.
• As a key business partner, the SM collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to enhance cost management, improve operational efficiency, and deliver actionable insights. The role plays a critical part in supporting both tactical execution and long-term strategic decision-making, contributing to sustainable business growth and value creation.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Lead the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning
- Deliver in-depth financial analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives and business decisions
- Conduct variance analysis (actual vs budget vs forecast), providing actionable recommendations
- Support investment evaluations, business case development, and scenario analysis
Requirements
~1 min read- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and enhancement of FP&A processes
- Enhance financial reporting efficiency and analytical capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Fellow member of HKICPA or equivalent professional accounting body
- Minimum 10 years of accounting/finance experience, including:
- At least 5 years at managerial level
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in the insurance industry
- At least 3 years of audit experience in a professional firm
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Excellent business acumen and strategic mindset
- Proven leadership and team development ability
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure
- You are required to acquire the relevant license(s) if your job involves regulated activities
