About the Role
~1 min readThe role operates as a dual-hatted position:
(1) a Transformation Partner for responsible functions, driving end-to-end strategy planning and execution; and
(2) a domain SME, leading simplification and efficiency initiatives while ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy. It translates strategic priorities into actionable plans and delivers measurable outcomes, while leveraging deep expertise in process reengineering, productivity improvement, and target operating model design to shape, challenge, and enhance transformation initiatives for sustainable impact.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Act as a trusted partner to assigned business functions, translating strategic priorities into actionable plans, workstreams and measurable milestones
- Provide strategic advice and perspective to business functions, shaping initiatives and challenging assumptions to strengthen alignment with enterprise priorities
- Drive end-to-end strategy execution, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time and achieve defined outcomes
- Partner with the Strategy team to support development of business cases and annual strategic plans, ensuring strong linkage between strategy, investment and execution
- Align on key outcomes, KPIs and targets, and track progress through a disciplined performance management rhythm
- Operate as a single, accountable execution engine with clear priorities, ownership, and delivery cadence across initiatives
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve performance and outcomes
- Facilitate coordination across teams to ensure integrated and consistent delivery
- Lead process reengineering initiatives to streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance operational effectiveness
- Drive productivity improvements and cost efficiency opportunities across functions
- Conduct in-depth reviews and support the design of optimized organisational structures and target operating models
- Ensure alignment with Group Office Future of Work (FoW) initiatives and standards
- Provide expert input, challenge existing practices, and shape more efficient and scalable solutions
Requirements
~1 min read- A Bachelor degree in Business, post graduate degree is a plus
- At least 8 years of working experience in Insurance and Financial industry
- Solid transformation experience is preferable
- Experience in consulting advisory is preferable
- Has worked in various business functions within an Insurance / Financial institution
- Proficient practitioner in project management and has led major cross function teams in projects
- Strong understanding of TOM, organisation design, and workforce optimisation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent leadership skills, team player and ability to influence
- Excellent communication skills and able to communicate with senior executives effectively
- Strategic thinking and judgment
- Strong drive for results and accountability
- Ability to challenge constructively and influence outcomes
- High adaptability in complex environments
- Proficient in English and Chinese written and presentation skills
- Ensure team members who perform regulated activities have obtained the relevant licenses and fulfilled the licensing requirements
- The role holder demonstrates a strong commitment to understanding and addressing customer needs.
