The CBE team serves major clients and broker partners through an elevated, personalized experience – our client-centric framework drives a consistent experience and best practice, while allowing flexibility to meet the client’s needs.
The Client & Broker Engagement Specialist supports the execution of AIG’s Client & Broker Engagement strategy by partnering closely with the Client & Broker Engagement leadership team to drive engagement initiatives, stakeholder coordination, pipeline management, and operational excellence. The role will also partner closely with stakeholders across Product, Claims, Multinational, Marketing/Communications, Operations, Finance and other key functions to drive consistency and outcomes across priority initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and coordinating across multiple stakeholders to deliver business outcomes. The successful candidate will gain broad exposure across Distribution, Underwriting, Marketing, and Product teams, with opportunities to progressively take ownership of broker relationships and strategic initiatives.
Client & Broker Engagement
Support the planning and execution of client and broker engagement strategies aligned with business priorities.
Develop and maintain relationships with assigned broker accounts, providing timely support and ensuring a positive engagement experience.
Partner with internal stakeholders to coordinate responses, resolve issues, and facilitate seamless broker interactions.
Support the management of a designated portfolio of brokers or specific lines of business, progressively taking ownership as capabilities develop.
Stakeholder Coordination & Business Enablement
Act as a central point of coordination across Distribution, Underwriting, Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to facilitate effective execution of client and broker initiatives.
Identify bottlenecks and proactively coordinate stakeholders to ensure priorities continue to move forward.
Support leadership in following up on action items, business priorities, and strategic initiatives across multiple functions.
Drive alignment across stakeholders by facilitating communication and ensuring visibility of key deliverables.
Pipeline & Performance Management
Support pipeline management activities by maintaining visibility of opportunities, tracking progress, and following up on key actions.
Consolidate pipeline updates and prepare reports and presentations for business reviews and leadership discussions.
Monitor engagement activities and identify trends or opportunities to improve execution and business performance.
Maintain accurate records and dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
Events & Engagement Initiatives
Lead the execution of client and broker engagement events, seminars, and networking sessions.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery.
Manage event logistics, communications, vendor coordination, budgets, and post-event follow-up.
Support the development of engagement materials and presentations where required.
Strategic Projects
Support the implementation of regional and local Client & Broker Engagement initiatives.
Participate in process improvement projects to enhance collaboration, operational efficiency, and stakeholder experience.
Undertake ad hoc projects assigned by the Client & Broker Engagement leadership team.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Experience in insurance, financial services, relationship management, business development support, sales enablement, project coordination, or stakeholder management.
Prior experience within General Insurance or broker-facing environments will be advantageous.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to coordinate multiple priorities across different stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
Proactive, resourceful, and execution-oriented.
Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and track business performance.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
