- Act as HRBP working closely with the business area and Leadership Team
- Coach and support Leadership Team members to ensure we have a robust organization and talent strategy to support AIG growth
- Coach leaders on performance management, leadership development, compensation, culture & engagement and conflict management
- Be an organizational consultant for leadership that uses data to predict, anticipate, diagnose and propose solutions
- Act as an sponsor and change agent in HR subject
- Partner with Talent and Acquisition team to proactively identify future hiring needs and recruitment strategies to bring the best talents on time to meet business needs
- Responsible for handle the annual Compensation and Benefits survey, analyze the information, make diagnose and propose changes if necessary
- Manage day-to-day activities for HR and Payroll
- Responsible for benefits contract analysis, payment and negotiation
- Work HRB to streamline processes and increase efficiencies by upgrading, maintaining and implementing new technology and system enhancements
- Understanding labor practices and regulations and their impact on HR matters
- Be curious regarding Insurance Market practices
- Responsible for HR contracts (negotiation, review, updated and looking for a better opportunity)
- Be an ambassador of Inclusion
- Identify training needs for teams and individuals
- Provide ongoing support to employees on human resources related matters, policies and procedures
- Have a passion for data and process improvement with a keen interest in experimentation.
- Ability to deliver results in a dynamic and often ambiguous environment
- Build trusting relationships and influence key stakeholders
- Strong problem solving skills, high judgment, critical thinking, and willingness to be vocally self-critical
- Apply end to end process expertise to design and implement current, new or re-engineered processes into an HR Operations model.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other related area.
- Advanced English and Spanish skills.
- Deep knowledge of HR, Benefits and Payroll processes
- Recognized experience as HR generalist
- People Management experience
- Demonstrated success developing HR processes and streamlining operations.
- Expertise in employee relations and compliance
- Skills: leadership, team work, excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, hands on, creative and innovative leadership as well as challenging the status quo, resilience and the ability to work under pressure. Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines. Must have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Project management skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office and an HRIS system (ie. Workday or PeopleSoft).
