The PAC Associate is a dynamic and valuable member of the PAC team, reporting to the Senior Director, AIPAC PAC. You would be helping to manage and implement the overall operations of the PAC and its associated Portal, and you would play an important role in advancing the organization’s political engagement. This position offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of politics, fundraising, compliance, and stakeholder engagement while supporting a fast-paced PAC operation during an increasingly consequential election cycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
PAC Operations & Political Fundraising
- Support PAC contribution processes including coordinating contribution disbursements and deposit procedures with the compliance vendor, campaigns, and regional staff.
- Communicate with campaign fundraising staff regarding political fundraising events, contributions, and related issues.
- Support national political fundraising efforts throughout the election cycle.
Political Events & Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate staff and lay leader participation at political fundraising events in Washington, D.C., and around the country.
- Serve as a liaison to regional and Washington, D.C., staff on PAC operations and activities.
Data, Systems & Compliance
- Assist the PAC Manager with Portal activities which include updating PAC databases, dashboards, Smartsheet, Salesforce, and other tracking tools to ensure accurate reporting and monitoring of PAC activities.
- Help conduct training for key stakeholders on PAC systems and the Portal.
- Conduct FEC and other PAC-related research as needed.
Administrative Support
- Support PAC team’s meetings and operations, including developing agendas, scheduling meetings, processing event invoices, and coordinating travel and expenses.
- Undertake additional PAC and Political Department responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- 1–3 years of professional experience, preferably in political fundraising, government, advocacy, nonprofit, campaign, or related environments.
- Strong commitment to the U.S.-Israel relationship and an ability to engage effectively in a bipartisan political environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build productive relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism when working with sensitive political and organizational information.
- Comfort working with data, databases, and technology, including Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Salesforce, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
- Ability and enthusiasm to learn new systems and adapt to an evolving and expanding PAC operation.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and enthusiasm for working as part of a team.
AIPAC is offering a competitive market base salary between $55,000 and $75,000 for the position. A job offer within the range will depend on how closely a candidate’s skills and experience match the role’s requirements. AIPAC also offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package that contributes to employees’ overall total compensation package.
Note that we currently follow a hybrid schedule with three days in our offices and two days working remotely.
