Air Transport International (ATI) is an experienced supplemental carrier with the ability to reach across the globe. ATI is an FAR Part 121 charter airline headquartered in Wilmington, Ohio, and operates a worldwide fleet of Boeing 757 and 767 cargo and combi passenger aircraft. 1.     Maintain the airline safety reporting database (ProSafeT), and the associated tracking database(s) for all safety reports (Event, ASAP, etc.) under the direction of the Manager of Safety.

2.     Maintain tracking documents associated with Safety related information under the direction of the Manager of Safety.

3.     Assist the Manager of Safety in facilitating document management and scheduling of meetings (ERC, Training, etc.).

4.     Assist the Manager of Safety in facilitating Safety Training briefings and associated training records.

5.     File and retain required reports (Bird Strike, Laser Strike, etc.) in accordance with Dept. Procedures.

6.     Assist the Manager of Safety in preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports/communications.

7.     Other duties as directed by the Manager of Safety.

Job Functions:

·       Process all safety reports (Event, ASAP, etc.) in accordance with dept. procedures.

·       Assist Mgr of Safety in facilitating ASAP ERC meetings; e.g., prepare agendas, meeting minutes, reference documents, etc.

·       Track open reports/corrective actions in accordance with dept. procedures.

·       Assist Mgr of Safety to prepare monthly and quarterly reports.

·       Maintain the Company’s safety reporting database user access and privileges in accordance with dept. procedures.

·       Assist Mgr of Safety in communicating safety report information within ATI. 

·       Assist Mgr of Safety with publication of the Quarterly Company newsletter.

·       Additional duties as assigned by the Manager of Safety.

Requirements

·        High School Diploma or Equivalent

·        Must be able to work independently and use independent discretion and judgment.

·        Detail oriented characteristics with an ability to prioritize multiple objectives in a dynamic environment with constantly shifting priorities.

·        Able to read and understand general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations, e.g., applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.

·        Possess a working knowledge of MS Office and Computer databases.

  • Employees are regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard.
  • Comply with ATI attendance requirements
  • Sitting for long periods in front of a computer, lifting 30 lbs., kneeling, crouching, stooping, climbing of stairs or ladders, balancing, reaching, handling, working at a height of 20 feet, exposure to various inclement environmental conditions (Station Observations).

  • Prefer Microsoft Excel familiarity

·        Member of Safety or Audit/Evaluation Association

·        30-Hour OSHA General Industry Safety and Health

·        FAA Pilots or Dispatch License or an Airframe & Power plant (A&P) desired

·        Experience and/or education in aviation safety investigations with experience or training in Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP)

·        Two years of equivalent level Flight Operations, Ground Operations, Maintenance, or Safety experience or Associates degree in Business or Aviation.
