About the Role

We are building a new team from the ground up to work on an ambitious new product in a fast-moving, competitive market. This product will leverage Aircall's core strengths in voice and AI to transform how sales teams operate—helping them work faster, smarter, and more effectively at scale.
As one of the first engineers on this team, you will have significant ownership and influence over the technical direction and product development.
We are looking for engineers with a 0-to-1 mindset who are excited to build products from scratch and thrive in ambiguous environments, as well as a strong growth orientation that drives them to evolve alongside the team—whether that means deepening their technical expertise or eventually stepping into technical leadership and management roles as we scale.
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Take ownership of key responsibilities within the design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of features across the full stack.
Build and maintain frontend interfaces using React, and backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
Write clean, scalable code, and test and deploy applications and systems.
Revise, update, refactor, and debug code to ensure optimal performance.
Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge across the team.
Contribute to an engineering organization dedicated to delivering high-quality, secure voice solutions to Aircall clients.
Optimize product and platform performance, and actively engage in live-site monitoring.
Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical system issues and ensure continuous system reliability.
Prioritize security, keeping it at the forefront of everything you do.
At least 3 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
Proven experience with AWS services and cloud-based architectures.
Deep understanding of software development practices, scalable system architecture, security best practices, and cloud-based platforms.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot complex issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of thriving while working closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
Experience building products from 0-to-1 or working within early-stage team environments.
Experience with the complete software development life cycle (SDLC), from initial design through to deployment and operation.
Experience building secure, scalable, and high-performance software.
