As a Business Assistant at our Fairfield, NJ facility, you will serve as an operational support of the site. In this dynamic role you will bridge finance, procurement (vendor management), office operations, and HR support by ensuring day to day efficiency while fostering a collaborative and engaging workplace.
- Vendor creation with support for vendor relationships and communications.
- Manage relationships with indirect vendors (insurance, care lease, etc.)
- Adhoc Financial Support: Accounts payable and Receivables, collecting and reviewing vendor invoices, expense reimbursements, etc.
- Assist with organizing company activities, including team lunches, employee appreciation, and holiday celebrations.
- Support and champion employee engagement events such as sending communications, organizing wellness & community service initiatives.
Requirements
~1 min read- Technical Tools: Proficiency in Google Sheets and familiarity with core accounting platforms (NetSuite or QuickBooks preferred).
- Precision: High attention to detail to ensure zero reporting or transactional errors.
- Integrity: Absolute discretion in handling confidential corporate and employee data.
- Organization: Strong multitasking skills to manage logistics, events, and accounting tasks simultaneously.
- An associate degree or a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or management
- Office experience 3 - 5 years
