Fixed Asset Intern

• Ensure compliance with the Company’s financial policies/procedures.
• Coordinate and support the overall CAPEX workflow process to ensure CARs are approved and processed timely.
• First pass review of all CARs submitted to the site, including but not limited to:
• Verify all required data is included, e.g. vendor quotes, etc.
• OPEX vs. CAPEX recommendation (including corresponding policy).
• Review & preparation of any associated asset retirements.
• CAPEX Projects Setup in SAP.
• Month-end procedures and reporting requirements related to fixed assets and capitalized costs, including the generation of reports and the preparation and posting of journal entries.
• Build and nurture smooth communication process with all the team members and stakeholders.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.

Education

Students in 3rd or 4th year, majoring in Public Accounting, Business Administration or similar.

Knowledge and Skills

• Some knowledge of Google tools (Sheets, docs, slides, etc) 

• Interest in acquiring practical experience in accounting.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work as a team and learn quickly.

Language Requirements

• English: Intermediate - Advanced English

• Spanish: Mandatory
