  • What We Offer

  • The Inventory and Receiving Specialist plays a key role in the efficient operation of the warehouse by accurately receiving, verifying, and processing incoming materials. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.

    • Receive incoming chemical and gas materials into Oracle aiming for accuracy and supporting proper documentation and verification procedures.

    • Process RMA returns, including receiving returned products into inventory as needed.

    • Perform IID verification to generate LIMs labels for all incoming products, maintaining accurate records and labeling procedures.

    • Cultivate and maintain a chronological filing system for all documentation, upholding compliance with record retention policies and efficient access to information.

    • Monitor label and tag levels to ensure adequate stock and prevent delays in the receiving and shipment process.

    • Receive and organize all FedEx items daily, ensuring timely processing and distribution of packages.

    • Partner with the planning group to receive special order material, coordinating delivery schedules and verifying order accuracy.

    • Foster alignment with other departments for products needing return to the DCC for investigation, ensuring proper documentation and tracking of returns.

    • Assist in the receiving and error correction related to Air Gas POs, ensuring accurate processing and resolution of discrepancies.

    • Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy, supporting our shared inventory accuracy goals.

    • Perform subinventory adjustments for items that are out of spec or waived due to customer (Failed or Waived status).

    • Support warehouse operations during extended hours (holidays/weekend on-call schedule) as needed, contributing to our team's shared adaptability to meet operational demands.

    • Actively contribute to efficiencies in the receiving and document control process, participating in our continuous improvement efforts.

    • Participate in the local 5s program, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

    • Bring a thoughtful approach to quality and safety practices, ensuring alignment with company standards and regulations.

    • Ideally, you bring a foundational understanding of the QC process, including the ability to identify and correct quality issues using Simx, LIMS and Fabnet.

    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager, working together to adapt to changing needs.

    • Pay certification/registration fees for DCC, collecting necessary information (DEA, TCEQ Haz & Non-Haz Fees, TRI Form R Report, EPA, City of Dallas Fire Department, etc.).

    Technical Skills:

    • Basic understanding of inventory management and receiving procedures.

    • Familiarity with Oracle or similar ERP systems.

    Physical Qualifications:

    • Must be able to lift 60 pounds
